I am hearing very good things about this tire from my Corvette friends.Apparently about a second quicker than Hoosier R6's.I ran GY's back in the early 90's with great results.

When Goodyear decides to produce a DOT compliant race tire, they usually clean up. Problem is they usually don't make many sizes. I have also heard that they are only really fast for a few if not only a couple heat cycles. I'd definitely give them a try. What do the Corvette folks say about them?

Faster than both the Khumo 710 & Hoosier R6 but that is racing not lapping,so he does not put a lot of heat cycles on them.
