He was smiling a little more but then I reminded him of his much larger and supercharged V8 that he had compared to my 4 litre. So then we get up onto the freeway and not gonna lie, he did start to pull away but only at speed far to fast to consider safe. My question is to you guys, what kinda power do you think the new ZL-1 will dyno at? I believe my buddy said his car was right at 500 at the tires on 91 octane. Is this completely unreal because I was really proud of my M

I dont see this as being correct no offense he cant be putting down 500whp and you beat him and kept up with him. But i wasnt there so if so gratz!

I'm raising the bullshit flag on this. I have a heavily moded Camaro SS heads/cam intake,exhaust and so on dyno'd at 432 hp 418 tq at the wheels and I have a stock 09 E92 and the Camaro will kick the shit out of the M in a straight line start to high speed. I have even taken both cars to the track 1/4 mile let my brother drive the M and it was no contest. Swapped cars and he smoked me and the guy you raced is saying 500hp at the wheels something smells fishy...

Does your buddy still live with his parents? I'm just trying to generate a tableau of the Camaro demographic melange.

I'll try to post a link up of the car on YouTube. I'm always on my phone and it's a pain in the ass to try and cut and paste but yeah, like I said, I was quite surprised how the cars stacked up. The video is right after we got the car back and before we got to take the cars together
