Official Picture leaked

Well it looks like the first official pic has been leaked before the Paris Motor Show next week:

Looks just like the concept (from the front at least) except that the first release will be a convertible.

The seats are different from the concept but they still look badass. I wonder how true the rear will be to the concept?

Other things I see different:
The hood on the production car slightly different hood vents
The car on the left doesn't have the aggressive side skirts that the concept had, however the car on the right looks like it does.

Things that are the same:
I still don't see obvious door handles in these pics just like the concept

Looks amazing. Have some apprehension about buying/owning a Jag though. Would be interested enough to take a look based on looks alone though.

Wow nice, so the coupe should turn out to be pretty similar to the concept looks-wise too.... Good stuff. That's a sick car.

Me want coupe! Looks like the important parts will make it to production. Did they keep it as a hybrid or will this be a normal motor?

No hybrid - thankfully!

"Jaguar has previously confirmed the F-type’s engine line-up will consist of its all-new supercharged 3.0-litre V6 and a new version of its familiar supercharged 5.0-litre V8. The former will be available with either 335bhp or 375bhp, but the V8’s figure is as yet unknown."

Best part is - apparently - it will be available with a MANUAL transmission!!!!

I absolutely LOVE IT. I want the coupe with a manual BADLY.

Music to my ears - errr - eyes. That's just the news I was hoping for! It took Jag like 50 years just to get them to stop leaking oil, one can only imagine how long it would take them to perfect a hybrid system.

Not sure if it's just me, but I was immediately reminded of this when I saw the photos:

looks nearly identical to me with the exception of the vents all over it

Initially i was taken back by the picture posted, but after looking around the rest of the car I was put off. Not a fan. The rear is hideous and the straight on view is equally unappealing. The corner view posted was breathtaking but the square views are either to plain or too much. Over designed, not well proportioned.

This Jaguar is pretty much a faithful representation of the concept. It looks good so far I wonder how it looks with the top up. I wonder how much this will be.

There are more picture here including the rear and it looks good.

I disagree, there is no way that it resembles anything like the Ferrari California. Put the Jaguar concept and the production exterior side by side and from what pictures that have been revealed, very little has drastically changed from concept to production.

Autoblog is also confirming that it will start at 69k. Ehhh I don't know if I like that too much. That probably means the V8 will probably start at 80k and end up in the mid to high 90s decently optioned.

They are also saying it will come in 3 forms:

F-Type (supercharged 3.0-liter V6 (340 hp / 332 lb-ft)
F-Type S (supercharged 3.0-liter V6 (380 hp / 339 lb-ft)
F-Type V8S (supercharged 5.0-liter V8 (495 hp / 460 lb-ft)

No word on a manual, but industry folks expect one to show up after a year. Probably when the coupe comes out (which hasn't been confirmed yet either).

The hazard signal switch on steer is a nice touch, I can initiate race sequence with any civic on the street with my hands on the wheel.

A few years ago who would have thought we would be seeing such Jaguar production models. Orange paint and CF spokes in wheels.

I'm drooling all over my keyboard just thinking about the F-Type coupe with a manual. I don't care if it is the base model.
