Whats a good X-Pipe to match with Akra slip on exhaust

I've recently purchased an Akra slip-on and looking to combine with cat/catless X-pipes. Considering Mastermind, Gintani naming few. The Akra version are hard to find, pricy etc and I am trying to manage a budget.

Appreciate thoughts on x-pipes and on sound, performance, etc.

Cheers guys

I'm running mine with my old AA catless X pipe, sounds amazing. I already had the pipe when I got the mufflers. I think the macht & schnell is also a good choice and is not very expensive.

I have ACM test pipes with BPM Stage II. Mike Benvo organised the package for me. Worth emailing him because if you're going catless you will want a tune, and I am sure Mike will be able to sort you out. Good luck

Is it a good thing that we're at the point in the e9x's life cycle when people start getting "creative"?

I'm having trouble deciding.

I have test pipes with my akrapovic slip on, and I would only buy an x-pipe if you have to revert back to stock to pass emissions, otherwise text pipes are cheaper, have no significant weight difference and the only difference is a slight rasp which probably wouldn't matter if you are on a budget. I am extremely happy with the way mine sounds.
