Financing

I keep noticing that alot of people are buying the M's, even these days. Where are people getting financing? and is it only people with 800 credit scores?

I can't speak for everyone else, but I got financed thru BMW for 2.9%. I put 10% down. I have a pretty good credit score in the mid 7's.

2.9% is only applicable to 09. For 08, I got 7.9% so I went to a local CU, paid $10 to join and got 5.5%

I purchased my car when BMW was offering 0.9%/2.9% for 08 M3's. My credit score is in the mid-700's as well.

Im a worse than you guys. my score is high 600. I probably shouldnt apply until things get better.
They were saying the Government is buying these loans from banks that lend right now to spur lending and buying, but I guess thats to people with 700+ scores.

same here. I put 2k down, but that doesn't even cover taxes. I am very happy to know that when I make my M payment only $50 goes to the bank

I got 0.9%/60 months on my 2008. I put 10 grand down. Not a bad deal in this environment for financing.

Right now BMWFS would probably approve you for 2.9% with a high 600 score provided you have good income, low debt, and no recent delinquencies.
