E93 Silvestone with Racemesh

Check it out. I had the racemesh grill on my '06 imola E46 convert. I liked it soo much I called Michael at Racemesh again for my new E93. He hadn't had a chance to build one yet so mine became the prototype. I ordered the front intake, diffuser, and hood vents in stainless steel (you can also get the same pattern for the kidney grills but I decided I like the OEM well enough).

The mesh is not to my taste, but what's up with the fit between the bumper and the hood on top of the right kidney? I thought the hood wasn't closed on one side when I saw that, but I followed it over and it was!

Good catch....been having troubles with the hood latch adjustment. Need to take it in again for dealer to adjust. First the driver side was too far down so the driver side wouldn't latch then they raised it and now it sticks up a bit and sometimes the passenger side won't latch.

I don't care for it. But at least it's unique.

I didn't figure most would like it since lots of members seem to be going for "black-out" look with grills, gills, wheels, etc. I think it looks great (obviously).

I have seen many after-market setups and the more I see it, the more I appreciate BMW for coming out with a fantastic kit STOCK standard. Apart from the Ericsson Kit, I dont think the others cut it. Honestly.

Gross man. Leave these to the Wings West Honda Civic body kits please. I can't believe people like this chicken coop wire.
