M3 Sedan SSII/Fox Red

Just found an 08 E90 with the following options:

SSII
Fox Red extended
Premium Package
Navigation
Moonroof
iPod/USB
Enhanced Sound
Carbon leather trim

85 miles
Sticker $66,945
Already offered me 11k off which makes it 56k

What is a good deal for this car? Any lower than 56k? Keep in mind its a sedan and MT.

Also...he said that this car has everything in the tech package with the exception of Comfort Access, M drive, and EDC.

I didnt know that you could select individual options and not get the whole tech package. Am I wrong? If I dont have M drive, will I be missing out?

When you compare what you would have gotten when purchasing an E46, you are getting alot for the money. I got $8k off but that was Sep'08. All in all I think it is a more than fair price. It is new right?

I have the same config. It was one of the launch vehicles. It's funny what he said about the tech package, though. The only other thing in the tech package besides all the items listed is navigation. I guess navigation is "everything".

How do you like the combination SSII and Fox red? Do you get alot of compliments on the color? I still do not understand the whole thing about the tech package, I hope this car has M drive though.

Call Alderson BMW here in Lubbock before you buy. They have the EXACT same launch vehicle in stock. I picked up my plates yesterday at the dealer, and I was told that they're VERY motivated to get rid of it. You can definitely get a better deal from Alderson. I know I did on my coupe.

That would be the exact color combination I would order on an M3 Sedan!! BMW is giving $7,500 back on 2008's M3's right now. This car DOESN'T have a tech package. It just has Navi.

I have the same exact car and paid slightly more a couple of months ago.

Never missed the mdrive or EDC. Ignorance is bliss...

i think if it was a launch car, then it does not have tech package which means no m-drive or edc. those are some pretty cool features you may want. a friend of mine got one like this not knowing what options it really lacked and he was real upset, but the dealer wouldn't help because he had already put 5000 miles on it. cool colors though. red might get a little old after a while.

dct is better!

i know most people on these forums are huge advocates of manual transmissions, but i think something has to be said about the technology that has been put into these newer automatic transmissions. i honestly wouldn't even consider the dct as an automatic,but rather a modified manual. i have driven many dct m3's as well as 6mt and there is no comparison. that m3 with dct is absolutely amazing. it completely changes the car...for the better!

It gets lots of compliments. I love the fox red interior. It doesnt' have M drive nor EDC. To me, those are nice to have but I don't feel like I'm missing alot without them. I know how I am and I would've just put it on one setting and left it anyway. M3 wasn't on my radar but I couldn't pass up the incredible lease deal I got on this one last October.

I was debating between this sedan and a coupe that I found in Florida. The sedan was manual and didn't have M-drive. The coupe had DCT and M-drive and was loaded, so I went with that. There wasn't a huge price difference and I was initially looking for DCT. Luckily I found the last new 08 DCT coupe in the nation.

So, for all you other folks, the sedan is still available...Gary just called me today and I told him that I would spread the word. Its a beautiful car. Give Gary a call at Alderson BMW Lubbock.
