So do the AIB's have a sort of blue tint to them in person? I've been wanting a setup with a blue-ish tint instead of all white.

Ok, so now I've had both the camaross305 "Elite" kit which runs the GP Thunders at full power all the time, and the AiB kit installed. Sorry I don't have comparison pics but:
At night the AiB seems to be a bit yellower than the OEM headlights, but just barely if noticeable at all. They are fairly bright at night and I would say appear about equal to the Elite kit. If you saw both parked side by side you would have a tough time guessing which one is which. (I was running 7,500k GP Thunders). During the day, the Elite kit is brighter by just a little bit than the AiB kit. My guess is because of the color temperature I was running the GP Thunders at made them much more visible even though both kits appear white. I still think they are a touch brighter though. Not enough to make a purchase decision on. Evenness of halos. I would say both appear evenly lit when you look directly straight on. The AiB almost seems to have a brighter outer ring if you go just off center, then it fades and the inner becomes brighter. The Elite kit looks fairly even while looking straight at it too. But as you move to the side the outer ring is not as bright as the inner. Conclusion: Neither is better than the other. Both offer different options and different prices. If you want simplicity, an easy install, white color angles, and no wiring under the hood. I say pay the extra for the AiB. If you want your choice in color temp (and the flexibility to quickly change colors), don't mind running a couple of wires (which is still fairly easy straight forward install), and only want to spend half the money then go for the Elite kit. Both are huge improvements over OEM, and both are far better than any other option I've seen on the market.

Yes do you have your DRLs set to off? I noticed it especially then. It's the computer testing the DRLs to make sure they work while it goes through its startup checks.

Yes it flashes even when the DRL is set to off, is there anyway to stop it blinking on every ignition start up? its a bit annoying as these were advertised NOT to flicker......

It's not because you have AiB lights. All DRLs do this (I think). It's just the computers self test of the cars systems.

The AiB are definitely not as bright during the day as the camaross "Elite" kit, you can't even see them on if the sun is shining towards them.
I still like them though
