Night pics will come soon. What a great improvement though. I always thought full power GPs looked good. I just couldn't stand when the voltage dropped and they turned yellow. Now they are nice and white and very clearly defined all the time. I haven't seen LED in direct sunlight at noon yet, but these as you can see from my pics are quite visible. I can't wait to see at dusk and then at night.

Rings look pretty evenly lit don't they?
It depends on angle of camera and where you are. If directly in front of light they look almost perfectly even. If you are standing off to the side then it's not as even. Not sure how that is when compared to LED setup for EAS?

I'm so happy with this upgrade. I'm sure the pricing will beat the LED set. You could probably even work a deal to leave out HID bulbs and just have connector instead which should be nice for pricing.
In my opinion this is perfect setup. GPs are just a touch brighter than when using OEM to run them with headlights off. The best part is they stay that bright when headlights come on. Plus you can run any H8 bulb you want with this setup, so if you want a different color temp it's perfect. I haven't checked them at night yet, but can't wait. HID's are very nice but just a bit too much.

You created this thread just to show off that new front bumper didnt you!
So if I understand this correctly you took the camaross kit and just plugged in the GP thunders? Just out of curiousity what temp were the HID's - 8000k? |

I used camaross kit with the new connector he made so that my GPs would be just plug and play. Otherwise you would need to buy some connector to fit H8s and splice wires. The HID is 6,000K and the GPs are 7,500K

Thanks for the info - just waiting on some replacement bulbs (6000K) then will be installing the camoross kit. Will keep this in mind for sure though. |

OEM = using stock wiring harness OEM with GP = using GP thunder H8 bulb powered by stock wiring harness camaross kit = replacement wiring harness to power GP Thunder H8 bulb. This kit is also used to power the HID bulb. Bulbs for angel eyes were were mostly GP thunders. One shot shows a HID bulb instead. The pics are supposed to show the difference of using camaross305s kit to power them and the stock wiring from the factory to power them.

Finally got to try this out at night. I gotta say it's awesome. The rings are so clearly lit and bright and white. But not HID bright where it hurts to look into them. I doubt any LED is this bright. Rings are clearly defined even with headlights on. No blurriness from being too bright. You can look right into them and it's not too bright. I'm going to try and get some good night shots soon to add to the thread.

thanks. yea, it's a huge difference from using the stock wiring harness. At night it's pretty much perfect, I really need to get night shots up here.

A few night shots. My photo skills are lacking and these photos certainly don't do it justice. The rings are perfectly clear, bright white, and not to bright to look right at. All pics are taken with camaross305 circuitry powering GP Thunder 7,500K H8 bulbs
