E90 Tail Light Makeover

I thought I could live with the tail light when I bought the car but I had a buyer remorse because of it lol So I decided to do a makeover before I do any stupid decision.. and Whollaa I love my M again.

The white trunk light was covered with transparent red sticker with a rectangular cut.
**edit: details on reply #10 below

Well you all know how the E90 tail looks and this is the final result. Let me know what you think..

Depo should make inside replacement just like that (since no needs to replace outside- fender side- unit). It'll be cheaper too!

I haven't been able to find anything like that. If you find inner Depos in red like that, post a link or PM me. Thanks!

Thanks guys, I am glad I am not the only one.

You guys can make it DIY too, it'll cost $9.50 for DIY
You'll need:
- Razor Blade (I find the pen razor at hobbyshop really helpfull)
- Transparent red sticker

- Hair Dryer (for the bubbles)

The easiest place to get this local is at your local sticker place or get it online here http://www.importequipment.com/trans...y_the_foot.htm

I tried it myself at home and I didn't like how the edges look so I went to my local sticker place and get it done profesionally for $25.

I hope this helps and let me know if you guys have any questions.

Thanks for posting this, gave me the idea to go looking more. I can't belive I haven't thought of this before, but LaminX has a kit for our taillights! It costs a bit more but when you use coupon code 10off it is only like $49.95. I just ordered and will get back to you guys with pics.

No problem. That's a bit expensive but let us know how it goes.
