I'm getting the BBK used from another forum member with only a few thousand miles for a very good deal. They are currently red, and I'll probably leave them that way since I'm going with the gunmetal wheels.

If you don't plan on tracking your car, don't worry about getting a BBK. Painting the OEM calipers is really pretty easy. Put the car on jack stands, take the wheels off, tape everything up, lightly sand the calipers, apply a primer coat (optional), a couple of coats of color, and a clear coat or two, and you're good to go. Factoring in the time between coats, it's easy enough to do in a day. I have the jack, stands and the garage if you ever want to do it. I could probably convince a buddy of mine who works in the Ferrari/Maserati body/paint shop here in Houston to help out.

Thanks, man. Everything besides the wheels should be on the car in a couple of weeks. The wheels probably won't arrive from Japan for another month and a half. I'll post pics of the finished product.

Thanks for the offer. But still sounds like a lot of work. I think if I ever get serious about painting my calipers, I'll just rent a car for a couple of days, and have a bodyshop do all the work.

I'd go matte black w/ anthracite wheel color. Especially since your exhaust is black. I'd only go silver if I change out the exhaust to a regular silver/polished finish. As for the BBK with silver I think it'll match pretty good but red w/ dark wheels will look even better. You should pick if you want sport or class.

Agreed on all of your points, and I want a more aggressive, sport look, so I decided to go with the gunmetal wheels, which will look better with the tinted windows, black exhaust tips, all of the gloss black trim that comes with the car, and the red BBK. I'm pretty sure I'll go with a gloss black front grill, but I'm undecided what to do with the side grills (probably color-matched with untinted LED housing). As elp_jc already recommended, I'm going to take it one step at a time to make sure I get exactly what I want the first time.
