screw loose

Guys, just thought this was strange. I found this on the floor of my garage just the other day. It looks like the same type of screw/bolt that is used to hold the bumper on in places, headlights, and various other things. While I did remove bolts like this to install the front grilles, etc, none of them had visible threadlock still on them, and they're all accounted for. My best guess is that this was dropped into the engine bay or something during production and 'lost', only to drop out weeks later in my garage. I suppose another possibility was that it was never screwed in completely and came loose. What do you think?

From that pic looks like it was never installed. Probably fell down and left there. I've seen several of those bolts around the engine compartment; I bet it was one of those. Keep it as a spare . And if you do your own maintenance, just look around when doing an oil change or something.
