Munich Pick-up

After a year long deployment and 6 hours in a stau on the way to Munich I finally picked up a 2013 E92 M3. BMW Welt was a great experience and made up for the long wait. It's AW and I picked up every option except for the DCT, and headlight washers. Just completed the break in service today so if I don't respond to this post you can assume what happened...

Never really used the headlight washers on the other BMW's that I've had. Without the sprayers the front just looks cleaner to me.

I skipped the cold weather package and instead just checked off the heated seats on my build so I wouldn't have headlight washers. The car looks much cleaner without the washers, and I'd rather not spray washer fluid all over my car...

Congrats! I'm actually heading to Munich right now!...I'm very fortunate that I'm only an hour away from BMW HQ....and 10 minutes away from the Regensburg BMW plant where our M3's are assembled =)

I also skipped headlight washers for the reasons mentioned above and because it is just one silly little thing to fail. I really don't want blue fluid on my white hood. Got the heated seats though and don't need a way to stick my skis in the trunk. They go in the bed of the pickup.

It pretty weak, to be honest, and occupies just one small corner. Only the e90 M3 CRT interested me. I asked them if they'd start it up, but no such luck.

The Welt is undergoing some major construction at the moment. They're readying it for all of BMW's brands, with major floor space designated for MINI. Rolls Royce has some real estate as well.
