Happy Birthday and my best mod to date

Well, about one year ago I picked up my M3 in Birmingham, Alabama.

Here's the first morning of ownership at Barber Motorsports Park:

One year and 10,000 miles later here we are in Portland with our first 15 minutes of sunshine in May, (I don't think we had more than an hour total in April!):

IB is a great color (but high maintenance!)- I suck at photography and I have seen only a few photos capture what you see in person. This photo is a perfect example, the car looked awesome in the midday sun, here... meh..

looks nice...just a little help never shoot in the middle of the day with out shade the sun is to harsh.. try to find some cool stuff to use as a background. get alittle further away and use alittle zoom to fill the viewfinder.

Yeah, the neighborhood backdrop is kinda poor, especially the one with the garage open!

I'll have to take a nice ride out in the country and and find a good location... another excuse for a joy ride!

Same here, member over 12 years. Just got my $1,500 membership reward on our new X5 35D. That's a nice dividend!

In fact my wife joined when we got the X5 and this window sticker (slightly modified) was part of her membership package.

They are attachments, so the problem must have been temporary with M3Post..

i joined last month. my sticker is on the passenger side rear window and iv got my grill badge on the front. makes it look super-euro lol. hopefully ill be going to some meets this summer in NY.

An incredible deal on Autotrader that I couldn't pass up. Our company sells all over the country so I mixed in a little business and picked it up. It was a run and gun so no time at Barber! That shot was taken at 6:00 AM- I asked to see the track and they wouldn't let me past the gate! By 4:00 PM I was on a plane back to Portland. Tom Williams BMW helped out with the transaction and did the PPI (for free!) and even stored the car while waiting for transport. They were/are an awesome dealership.

My car arrived 3 weeks later. That was a long three weeks!

Thanks! I was going to put in the original post that the spacers were my second favorite mod, but now that I have the performance wheel I think that might be my second favorite!

I took this right after the installation. It comes with a yellow center stripe. I painted it IB, came out OK. Not as finished as I would like since the yellow stripe is actually a piece of yellow rubber and not a very smooth surface.
