as long as the weather is nice M3. If it sucks or there is snow on the ground I'll drive my work truck. 05 GMC pickup.

I don't plan on getting winter tires for my M3. It will be a garage queen most of the winter especially once too much salt is laid down on Chicago roads.

ML63 is my winter beater. Unfortunately, MB factory-equipped it with summer-only performance tires but believe it or not, they actually make Dunlop Wintersports M3 in the stock 295/40/20 size which I have mounted right now.

I've got an ML350 with the 20" AMGs. I throw on 19s w Pirellis Scoripion Ice & Snows when it's real nasty or I'm going to the mountains skiing. Good winter vehicle. There are usually only a handfull of days in Portland I can't drive the M due to ice or snow.

That Ml63 looks real nice. Is it almost as fast as the M3?
I drive a Toyota 4runner right now but was thinking of trading it in for a 2009 Lexus ls460 AWD.

The M3 - as long as it get's through with the climate conditions (we don't usually have much snow over here but there can be frozen (icy) roads occassionaly). I would consider however to install a set of winter-tyres on dedicated rims.

I'll take a chance with the m3. Honolulu winters aren't too bad.
