Does not really matter if is it "5050" or "50/50" that was a very minor/forgivable point. The real f-up is the 50/50 power to weight ratio. What the meant was two points. 1. A (near) 50/50 weight distribution and 2. A very high power to weight ratio. Things got totally mixed up.

Calm down yourself. I am not even excited. I simply find it embarrasing for BMW to let such terrible language get through in their ads. Excellence in cars deserves excellence in advertising as well.

Ok fellas, sorry for leading you into the wrong door.. I found this ad on google after I saw it in the economist (was too lazy to scan), now everyone knows how unreliable google is sometimes, lol.. anyways I just dug up my issue of the economist that had the ad in it, and the wording is def. different.. it states.
"Introducing the all-new 2008 BMW M3. Just when you think yoiu've seen it all, another BMW M is unveiled, this time in the form of a sedan delivering an unexpected rush of 414 horses. Built from the ground up, this is one racecar that could not be confined to a racetrack. Every inch meticulously redefined, there is simply no more fat left to trim from this first-ever production V-8 M3 Sedan. Amazement. Crafted at BMW M. ///M" Here is a picture of the ad.. sorry for the bad quality, taken with my camera phone. |
