Just submitted an order for Monte Carlo Blue MY'11

Hello Everyone,

Thanks for all your feedback and comments over the last month. I finally put the deposit down and submitted my order today for a MY 11 in Monte Carlo Blue with Fox Red Interior (thought hard about silverstone), Piano Black Trim, D-CT, Competition Package, etc. I am hoping that the order goes through considering it is a special color. I am planning to take European Delivery in August and do plan a stop in Monte Carlo for a day :-).

As I mentioned in my previous posts, I was able to get 7% off of MSRP and not 8%, which is not bad. I am planning to get the following mods done this fall. Let me know if it makes sense.

- Gruppe M Intake
- Eisenmann Race Exhaust
- Chip (haven't decided the company
- Air Filter upgrade
- Brembo GT Brakes (once the stock are shot).

Nice! its going to look good. I am going to get lemans blue and I was considering going with fox red. The blue/fr combo that every one here seems to hate. It could look funky but i dont think it will(my dad has a dark blue/dark red 5 series and it looks good.). Good luck with delivery and we better get some when you finally get it!

and if you are interested I am 75% sure im going to go with bamboo. I like beige interiors but i have never had one so thats what im feeling right now, but who knows what im going to like tomorrow.

Thanks guys for your note. I will definitely post pictures as soon as I take delivery at the Welt. I know the colour combo is a brave move but I don't think I was really left with a choice. I didn't want Black and the Individual colours (Champagne, Platinum, rust Brown) would all look good on a 7 Series in my opinion. I sat in a car with Bamboo Beige and it didn't look as sharp. Therefore, after long and hard thinking I went with Fox Red and I feel it gives me everything that I needed inside out.

Anyone thinking of buying a blue, I would highly recommend the Monte Carlo as oppose to Le Mans or Interlagos. It just has the right balance.

If I didn't take the European delivery then I could get it in July, however, I won't pick up until end of August. Production takes a hiatus during August.
