ZHP Knob manual E92 M3
Hey all,
I got one of these knobs as I've had them previously in an E36 M3 and M coupe, but it appears that on this M3 the boot and OEM knob are one piece rather than two, so I am disappointed. To those of you who have installed it, what did you do? Buy a new boot? Cut the original? The ZHP knob is an awesome mod, but is not very cost effective if coupled with purchase of the boot. Thanks! |

I purchased a new boot when I switched to ZHP, so I can always go back to stock if I need to. There are a number of vendors that sell reasonably priced boots that are a direct fit for our cars.

I'd return the knob and get the F10 M5 ZHP knob. A lot of people (myself included) have done that and been very happy with it. There are some pics/tutorials here: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=773929

You can buy my redlinesgoods black leather boot. Matches the stock OEM boot exactly and you wont have to cut yours. I have it for sale in the sales interior section.
