Car looks hot! Glad you're happy with it, enjoy her.

Take a photoshoot and share it with the board sometime.

I have very bad credit so my interest rate is 12% but other than that I'd say I did alright. Btw, I'll get some more pics up asap (its raining right now but I'll try to get some anyway).
LOL! God for 12% I would have made it a mini (sell it to you for $500 over inv) for myself AND the HUGE specialfi bonus! You got so ripped off you don't even know!

Lets make this clear... You are losing around $12k finacing (assuming you make all the payments on time) and another $2k on the dealer profit. HOLY SHIT! Hope you keep that car for a while, as in not crash it! If you crash halfway (lets say 3-4 years) you would still be upside down and out $10k. Hope you got gap insurance!

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. My beacon score is 505. I was lucky to get financed at all, much less get a good rate. Also, gap was included in the deal so no worries there. Besides, i fully intend to refinance through my credit union next year when (hopefully) some of this crap comes off of my credit report......

Btw, I paid 12% on my last car so I'm used to it I guess...

335i Coupe $40,800.00 $37,945.00 $2,855.00

That is $3k in savings.

3) You have to purchase the round trip ticket + hotel stay plus... = that will be close to $2k at least.

So, how do you come up with $3k difference???

$8k - $3k (ED savings) = $5k diff
$5k + $2k (ED spendings) = $7k diff

Definitely not worth it IMO...
I believe when you do ED the plane tickets and hotel is payed for for you + 1. While I've never done it I'm pretty sure I read that in a few magazine articles featuring it.

Not sure where you heard that from but it is not correct. Lufthansa will give you two seats for the price of one through the BMW ED program but it (and the hotel) are most definitely not part of the deal....

I am not quite sure how it works, but you must have gotten the best possible deal in history with those savings... I wonder if anyone else got a $6k break doing the ED with the 335?

Assuming that your US price (non-ED) was at MSRP, you're claiming you actually got the car at $3k under the invoice...
I made my point in my last post about the $8k difference, now you're nick picking on how much I saved on ED? I based my savings (I rounded up to be honest) on the configurator price and the price I paid for the ed car minus tax/license/doc fees. Yes, the saving is lessen if you deduct the trip cost, but I'm due for a vacation anyways and it was a 'kill two birds with one stone deal' for me.

You mind me asking how you got the 505 on your credit score? I'm just curious if you want to share. PM me if you wish.

Congrats on the car.

Hotel and air tickets are your responsibility. Current there is a 2 for 1 deal at Luftansa.

I had an ED quote for an e90 335i $41K including premium, sport, heated seats, metallic paint, comfort access, Step, and the trip costs (see below). So add iPod integration and navigation and Coupe for an estimated ED of $45K.

And then figure higher residuals/forecast value and free maintenance, and the difference is not very much to $40.5K for the Infiniti.

My quote included $1K for the trip, more than enough to get me there and back with a couple of nights hotel. Any other trip costs are not apples-for-apples, because the rest of the trip is for enjoyment. Having said that, you'd be crazy to not spend some time over there on your own dime.

When I looked at it, the 2 for 1 deal was available, but you have to book though an agency which was much more expensive than what I found on Expedia.

Congrats on the car. It sounds like you made the right choice for you and it's a great car.

To the OP: Screw all the post-purchase calculations and justifications. Who cares...the car is in your garage now. Just drive and enjoy it.

Congrats.

Then that is all that matters....... why keep the thread going and keep insiting the debate.

I had an Infiniti and loved it every bit as much as the BMW.

For the money the G37 is one of the best deals out there.

enjoy your car and enjoy the Infiniti boards

Thanks man. I did not get the 4ws as I read the active steering was inferior to the stock setup (and I really didn't think it would be worth an extra $2k).....
