Good that you raised that point. There is double taxation on cars in HK. A HK M3 will cost double the price of a US M3. Now you can get an idea of how much the OP's car collection really cost... |

OP is not an isolated case in Hong Kong. I've seen WAY more exotic cars per km (or mile) here than in Canada or the US. It's from the tax. Since buying a car is so much more expensive anyway, why not get a really nice car if you can afford it?

Beautiful collection. I wouldn't change anything.
What modifications have you done to each car? The Impreza and the E93 are obviously modded, are the others? I did a little math and you have yourself a $1,000,000 collection, not counting the two on order nor the cost of mods. Congratulations and keep up the good work (and taste)

Yes, he could also be a owner of a mid-size manufacturing company with factories on the Pearl River Delta (e.g. Shenzhen, Dongguan, Guangzhou, Zhuhai etc), acting as a supplier to the multinationals in the West. This was a common method of getting rich in Hong Kong, apart from the banking/finance industry. A least that's how my ex-boss got rich. |
