Ordered these BBS LM-R and a week later i picked up a local set of bbs fi, so no i am considering selling the brand new never mounted LM-Rs specs below

Finally downloaded app so pics are uploaded

BBS LM-R diamond silver face with chrome stepped lip

Why would you want to remove the coating? I'm going to coat my LM's. Should I not?

More than likely because you used a wrong coating, or in better terms, not the ideal coating for wheels.

Wheels take punishment from not only heat, but brake dust.

You want a very durable coating to keep them protected. Something like 1-2 coats of DLUX plus 1-2 coats of GLISS would have been the perfect combination.

Trying to remove a coating on a wheel like this would be a PITA .

Either way, amazing wheels.

I believe that's Matt from obsessed garage. He only uses high quality coating on his cars. He's mentioning removing the cheaper alternative that was used here.

I'm kind of surprised Matt would opt for 20's. Also, I wonder if dry ice blasting would do the trick for removal? Beautiful wheels.
