I accidently drove round the Nürburgring (Nordschleife) pretty quick ;-)

Yes chaps, I´m really sorry but for some reason I drove it in under 8 minutes, which is not too bad and had my GoPro running.

Anyway, I will post an even faster lap soon. So please subscripe to my YouTube-Channel.

Here you go:

Sorry for the not so great sound. I used the wrong GoPro case which killed all the good engine sound but keeps the rattling noise from the cam.

Wondering about the groundhog? That´s my friend since my tour through the Alps earlier this year. He likes driving fast.

Yes, but just flashing the DSC light in the dashboard in M-Dynamic Mode doesn't necessarily mean it's already working. It's just a little "advice" that it will come in to help you soon. During this round it didn't do anything.

A very good point on the track were DSC is often active is the "Ex-Bergwerk" corner. If you get this corner slightly wrong you hit a bump and DSC is taking off power for a second. You can see that at this particular courner DSC doesn't even flash the light.

On most tracks I drive DSC off but at the Ring there is so little space it's good to have it as a backup. If you drive a good line it won't bother you anyway. Pretty good work by the M-GmbH.

Sadly, yes. It's not a good thing though. I would prefer to separate bikes and cars. Sometimes it's frightening...

Some decent level of driving.

The last time I drove was Oct 2012 in RSR's E92 rental. Surface was damp-wet and DSC was already kicking in at 75% throttle in a straight line.

Decided that I'm not going to know even 1% of the track even though I've xboxed and PS2ed the crap out of it. Short shifted every turn.

Confidence plummeted when the full roll cage Evo 9 overtook me at the beginning then written off at 3/4 into his journey. Engine oil everywhere.

Would do it again if I drop by Germany.

You 'accidentally' drove round in under 8 minutes, and I 'accidentally' watched it 3 or 64 times.

Nice job, mate.
