Attended Test Drive Event ??

Has anyone attended a BMW test drive event. I got a letter from Stevens Creek BMW stating that I was invited on June 5th to test drive the new 3 series, Lexus, Audi, and Mercedes. Do they lecture or pressure you the whole time, or do they let you really drive the cars hard to compare? How Long does it last etc...???

I participated in the X3 event last year at Rusnak in Thousand Oaks. They basically bring all of the cars out, tout the BMW and do some demos. Then you get to test drive the cars, both the BMWs and other brands. It is a pre planned route of about 6 miles or so. They didn't pressure you or lay on a heavy sales pitch.

There was a pretty descent food spread with fresh fruit, juice, coffee and if I recall correctly some type of lunch. We all received BMW branded spill proof coffee mugs.

If you have a few hours to kill, it is worth it. Better than household chores.
