newbie drivelogic question

When one of the drivelogic programs[1-5 D] or [1-6 S]

is selected,I assume factors like EDC,DSC and throttle

response are adjusted or do these programs control

other mechanical settings ? In other words,if I select

S 6,for example,are EDC etc automatically changed?

EDC and Power settings are not affected unless you use the M button to change your favourite settings.

Best regards, south

Thanks south. I'm still not clear as to what

specific mechanical factors different Drivelogic settings

control to manage the overall driving

experience. If not EDC,Power or DSC,how

does one setting vary from the next? Again,if

this is a basic question,my apologies.

The drivelogic settings merely change when (in D mode) and how quickly the car changes gear. The suspension and throttle sensitivites are controlled by the EDC and Power buttons respectively (or all at once with the the M button).

First of all, and I mean no offesnse, but why are you writing this as if it is a poem or lyrics to a song? It is a bit hard to parse.

Secondly, why did warner throw that pass?

Third, basically, the settings vary only in the aggressiveness (quickness) of the shifts, the RPM of the shifts, and how strictly rev-matching is executed. And a couple other transmission-y things. Seriously though there is a document that describes it pretty well, it came up here in a thread recently. Search on "drivelogic" and thumb through the results (sorry that's as best a help I can be in finding the thread).
