Yes and please do a search. Mine I got (sorry still waiting) it for less than MSRP. I got a quote for 2 dealers near our place. I don't know about CA. From what I heard, they are asking for more if not MSRP. But I am always wrong.

California dealerships are selling ///M3's with discounts up to $2500 below MSRP. My long-time friend/salesman offered me $1500 off during my test drive last weekend. During test drives at other dealerships, I've been offered $1k & 2k off respectively.

I saw one dealer selling for under MSRP in a back alley. He had the car under his black trench coat.
Bust seriously check the ordering forum - quite a lot of people have gotten under MSRP on a sedan, and a few people on the coupe too. |

I was offered $1k off of MSRP before the car was even released, on a coupe. When I finally ordered about a month ago, I got $1k over invoice, on a sedan. This was about $4100 off of MSRP.
Very easy to find deals, you'll just have to shop around a bit. I had purchased from this dealer before, so that helped some. |

I was (still) only offered 1k off MSRP on a coupe, so don't let them feed you a line about the sedan being in demand. It's not at all, and they should giving you a good deal.

There's a sedan on autotrader with msrp of $70,020 and an asking price of $65,995. I've talked to a couple dealers recently and even coupes are at a discount in many places, though I suspect not as much as the sedan.
EDIT: to be clear, the car is new, not used and according to dealer has low miles (i.e. not test driven or a demo) |

I paid $2,500 off for a DCT Coupe. It won't get built until July, though. I offered more $$$ for an earlier build date, but that was their earliest DCT allotment.
