Bye Bye G...Hello 335i
Sold my '03 G35 last year and went for a year without anything (just the family hauler)...
Finally pulling the trigger on a new 2011 Deep Sea Blue E90 335i. Now the waiting begins... Really enjoyed the G35. Put 160,000 Km on it with no issues. Only mod was Tint and a Borla Exhaust system. Sounded great and still looked great at 8 years old (not easy in Canada!). |

I had a ztube on mine. Big difference from the stock one with the sound dampers. The start up sound is my favorite though, how it reved up and dropped. Went from 07 6mt to 11 335d. No exhaust note at all. +5 I had an 03 coupe I replaced with an 06 coupe I replaced last week with a E90 335i m sport. Loved the Gs, 335i is a different kind of fun. |

  Didn't do too much to it, I did more in the interior than the exterior. Had the Stillen Z-Tube, lowered about 1" on the Z suspension, plenum spacer, Stillen strut bars & a few other things here & there. I sold it a year later & bought a Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport. Still have the Tacoma & my 335i. I do miss my G though, never had an issue with it. I haven't had an issue with my 335 either & I love the 335 even more. Wish I had both. HAH!!! |

Former '08 G37s Coupe owner! Completely stock.. would have loved to of supercharged it, but R&D was still fairly new when I traded the car.
I loved everything about the G except it's practicality in Colorado winters. Hence, I bought an '11 335i XDrive Coupe. I appreciate the BMW quality, handling, ride, and overall enjoyment more than the G. I miss the silky smooth manual transmission and some of the tech toys that came on the G. And I agree with most others on this thread, I mostly miss the sound... |
