Ill get those tomorrow.
The work he does is excellent. He mentioned there was a special way that the area was treated and as a result the matrix is less noticeable.

Are you supposed to wax the car before? And what about waxing the car? I imagine you wont be able to wax the front of it?

I ask because I've been wanting to do this to my next car.

The installer will clean the surfaces and apply the film - no need to wax first. I have Venture Shield film and Vince (of Omegawerks) told me to wax it as I would any other surface. I'm told the film has a layer of clear coat on it just like paint.

Clear Bra is on the top of my list, but I'm hesitant with the alpine white. Can you give a long term updates on yours? Any yellowing or other problems with the film?

thanks

thanks

So it's been about 1 year and 1 month since Vince put the clear bra on my car and it's held up well. Clearly it's saved my paint a number of times judging from the number of nicks in the film I can see close up and some surface scratches. There is no yellowing, however, if you look closely and in the right lighting conditions, you will see that the uncovered door panel is a bit of a more brighter white compared to the covered front fender. It definitely is not noticeable enough to bother me and still nobody can tell I have clear bra on the car.

I will take some pictures of my car this weekend after a car wash.

Here are some pics of my car after more than 1 year with the clear bra. The first one is a bit fuzzy, and the lighting could be better, but you can still see that there is no easily noticeable color change. My hood, bumper and front fenders are all wrapped - Vince of Omega's work has stood the test of time very well so far!

Haha, I do - just wish I could spare the money for a matching front spoiler and wheels at the same time!

Do you happen to have the Comfort Access feature? Could you or Vince comment on whether or not the type of tinting material (LLumar Axcess Ceramic) he uses affects the CA antenna range? Thanks!

Other than a few isolated incidents when my doors unlock only after 2 or 3 pulls of the handle (likely not due to the tint, but maybe interference from holding my cell phone at the same time or something), I've had no problems with my comfort access working since I got the tint. I haven't tried to test the antenna range, but i'm able to lock/unlock my car from at least 50 ft away.

Thanks for the response. That was enough to convince me to have mine done by Vincent also! He did a great job on my AW sedan. I'll post some pics up this weekend after a proper washing.

I went with the precut front bumper, full custom hood and fenders. The precut bumper saved me some dough and covers pretty much 99% of the surface area. I'm very happy with it. I didn't want the lines in the hood and fenders so I had them fully wrapped. Vincent cleaned it all up in the 2 week follow up appt.
I also got 30% tint on the rear windows. The install was great, but it's already gotten scratched as documented in the other thread by a few others. I'm working with Vincent right now to get felt installed in the window seals since the 09's don't seem to come with felt liners any more.

My clear bra and tint are holding up great. It's so nice to have a car without rock chips!
