How do you tell your girl she could lose some weight?

So my girl is nowhere to be fat, but I mean, she could lose just a bit more ass to make it tighter loll Same for her love handles.

So... how can we approach the question, as men, without having her:

1) Make a crisis
2) Dump you
3) Be dry for weeks.

Watch the movie "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead" with her. It's really hard to watch that movie and not get motivated to lose weight...even in my case, when my weight is completely normal

The key will be getting that movie going without making it seem like a trap. That's up to you

My wife used to be overweight (she's in good shape now- we regularly run half marathons and occasional marathons). I brought it up many times and she was always unreasonably offended. What worked? We went with our friends to the town where they went to college for a party with their old college buds. Our friend, who is very skinny and VERY critical of fat people, mentioned some fat chick we'd meet. After we got home, I pointed out to my wife that that woman was about the same size as her. Boom- it was like a switch went off as soon as she realized her best friend called people about the same size as her "fat". That minute she set herself to losing weight, and we went out and got a gram-scale so she could measure how much food she was eating. A few days later she set the goal of doing a half marathon 6 months later, which she did.

I'd also recommend running with her and, once she's ready, making sure she understands how to count calories, get the "Hungry Girl" cookbook (tasty low-cal stuff), and watch "Biggest Loser" (the Aussie version. The US one sucks).

Lol, girls over analyze everything that comes out of male's mouths, if you start subtly saying shit, you're just going to create anxiety and insecurity.. this eventually leads to crazy shit. I am all ears here, as I don't really believe it can be done w/ out telling her point blank and suffering the consequences of rogue comments for the duration of your relationship (the "you dont love me/you think I am fat" type shit).
