ok, in that case im definitely wrong sorry about that..

but either way our ecu doesn't have those power pins or ill go try and switch it to the obd2 port power now.

EDIT: Either way that 1 series m owner connected the wheel to the obd2 port and he is also having the reset problem

will do, just pmed the 1m owner to make sure. if he has the same reset problem then it isn't the power source.

EDIT: He replied.. so it is the power source.. all his settings stay.

So where are we supposed to tap the two wires in? I had mine at the cig lighter too.

anyone have any advice on what a decent install price is from a bmw dealer? love to hear some prices if anyone is willing to share so i know how badly im getting ripped off lol

so where to connect the cables???
from the first day that install v1 wheel never work the shift lights
and i can not calibrate the rpm in the steering wheel
so far what i undestand the problem is from the electric power????
