I tape mine facing downwards on the right side of the license plate frame.

Here's how it turned out -- be sure to watch in 1080p60 and with speakers or headphones.
And before people get on my dick about "why weren't you driving faster", it was not a full-blown track day, just a BMW-run event where we did lead-and-follow. The instructor had to slow up a few times since we kept leaving that nice M5 way behind (see side-view mirror if you don't believe me). Also had a short autocross, and I got fastest time of the day. After attending Bondurant earlier this year, I felt way more comfortable catching the oversteer exiting the hairpin. The tires got way too greasy after all those runs (PSS). I think with some cool-off time and a few more runs I could've squeezed another few tenths out. The sound turned out awesome from that ATR-3350. I just attached it to the rear bumper with painters tape. I never knew the stock exhaust was so mean! Showed it to my dad, who said, "sounds like you're driving a Formula Ford or something." Next time I might try putting the mic under the hood near the hood intake. Thanks again to those who talked me into it!
