Euro MDM is enabled by coding. I know a bunch of places in Atlanta to get it done but not sure up there.

What is the Japan spec 240E? From what I was told the whole increased power in 240E was a myth.

Get in touch with BPM. They can do Euro MDM via coding (I have this) and he can also upgrade you to newest spec software. It takes no time at all.

There were dynos showing an increase in power (small though) if you go from really old software to newer ones.

Thanks but they can't upgrade to 240e remotely. I can have alex@alpine do coding for a fraction of the cost.

The increase in power is questionable. I'm more interested in the responsiveness that comes with the update.

If you buy their tune it's based off 240e.

What year is your M3? You might just be wasting your time, period. I had 60 or 70E when mine was updated.

Probably not worth worrying about the 240E at all then. If anything it's a couple HP. They should definitely be able to do the coding remote for Euro MDM.

Like I said alex@alpine will be doing my coding and DCT software remotely. Was really looking for the 240E because it's more aggressive "supposedly". A lot of good reviews from people that have upgraded to the 240e. Many say the car feels less sluggish!

I didnt notice anything with 240E. Probably has more to do with the DCT software update. I had a 6MT.

Flashing in a "Japan-Spec" file on a US Spec M3 will lose DTML.

It's best to keep US files on US-Spec vehicles, there are zero performance benefits to flashing other files.

Yeah...figured that out I read a thread where some were recommending it. Maybe when things started going south, they moved the steering wheel to right side.
