AC not blowing cold

So my ac isnt blowing as cold as it used it, perhaps it has a slow leak somewhere and i sure hope it isnt he EVAP. but anyway, rather than taking it to the dealer for diag. where do you guys recommend i take my car to have it checked out?

Hahaha thanks. That's what I was thinking. Haha. It still blows cold. Just not as cold as it used to. Lol

Let's all cross our fingers that it isn't my evap.

What have you guys paid to replace that? $2k?

You know we get that here all the time especially when the weather warms up suddenly, it's still possibly holding freon in the system but more than likely is taking a tad longer to cool due to the excessive heat that may have built up inside the cabin. You should take it to your local dealer or mechanic and have them put AC dye in the system to determine if there is a true leak.

If there is no leak and they detect that it's just low on freon then have them do a full vacuum and recharge.

Mine was done under extended warranty but would have been $3400 without it.

You either have an AC leak (doubtful) or the evaporator.
