any news on iPhone 3G adapter for E9x???

I googled, but nothing new seems to be known about the snap-in adapter for the iPhone 3g and my 09 M3... the phone does plug in as is to the current cable, it does charge, it does play music, and over bluetooth is does xfer the phonebook and do all the phone functions... all that is missing is that the adapter would give you far better reception using the external roof antenna.

I changed my order to include smartphone integration. Now I'm going to buy the base... then upgrade my phone, then buy another base... then move away from iphone all together and then buy another base. Then the 2010 M3 will be V8 turbo that gets 25MPG and has 480HP/450 lbs and includes a built in phone and real computer w/ satellite internet service (3G comparable) w/ bluetooth keyboard, etc. and then my car with multiple phone bases will be for sale... no better yet, I'll flame the new car saying how my M3 is so much better. Yup.
