What do you use to keep your exhaust tips clean?

I just got the ESS exhaust and want to keep the tips looking new. I have the satin finish. Do you guys use anything special or just regular wash to keep them from turning black? Thx!

I have now 31,000 miles on it,and use this after every wash of my car,and the result is that my exhaust tips are the same as from day one !

I like the natural discoloration on my MPE tips. I just wash 'em with the rest of the car, nothing special in between.

Always use microfiber
After a wash I use Griot's Speed Shine
Never have to polish them...

Never dull metal polish and I wipe the soot off the tips with a paper towel every time I fill up gas.

Is there any sort of coating on the tips that you will remove with an abrastive metal polish?

When my tips got really bad I used WD-40 on a microfiber towel. Took a little elbow grease but cleaned right up. Now I make sure to clean them extra good every time I wash the car and no issues so far.
