yeah please dont go there... there's quite a long list of horror stories about that shop.

i'd suggest ramon at bavarian motorsports or gabe at auto precision. both are in milpitas.

there's only one BRR in the bay area... and they're not THAT new. and yes there's a long list of poor experience and customer support. but if you're happy with them, that's great. there's just other shops that i'd trust first before BRR.

I am happy with their work. I checked the web after I got your response for any negative postings on them and found only positive postings. In either case, sounds like the OP got was he was looking for.

I deleted my post because I did not want to aid you in tarnishing their name with zero proof. I was simply trying to help out a member who wanted a shop recommendation.

dont worry, there's plenty. i know of about 5 people within my circle of friends who have had terrible experience with them directly. that's more than enough proof to convince me not to bring my car there. but kudos for you if you've had good experience.

back to the OP.... how much of the exhaust are you installing? are you doing midpipes and muffler? or just muffler? that might affect your price of the installation.

If you go to Yelp, BR Racing has 18 positive reviews. No negative. Bavarian Motorsports also have 5 good reviews and no negative. Here is the link:

My point is that you should not bash someone's business without backing it up. Without knowing your circle of friends, it is all hearsay. You could be a customer who was unreasonable and now want to bash the shop. I am not accusing of that, just making a point. And don't forget, what comes around goes around. You may be on the wrong side next time around and get shafted.

i aint bashing. just merely expressing an opinion and sharing the experiences of what my friends went through with the general forum. i'm just trying to help someone avoid having to go through the same shit my friends had to. but we're starting to beat a dead horse here... so i'm ready to move on.

the following link is from Jeff's M3 vert.. http://m3forum.net/m3forum/showthrea...ht=m5+brracing

there was an incident with an M5 where they did a spring install.. i forgot the details, but something broke due to inept install.. and the suspension in the rear bottomed out.

the place is basically buyer beware.. most go there simply because low price is worth the risk for them. i generally take my car to places where the workers are trained and/or have a ton of experience. taking it somewhere that has a couple high schoolers or young college kids.. definitely isn't worth it for me. tried it.. learned my lesson.

Gabe's a good guy and good for exhaust installs. Super cheap too. That's where I got mine installed back when I got my gruppe m.
