New member with a couple of pics!
Been lurking the forum for some time now and thought it was time to finally sign up with the intent of hopefully contributing just a small percentage of what I've learned during my time in the shadows. This forum really does rock!
I've included a few pics of my '08 Sparkling Eggplant e92 because clearly It's a DCT (which I love) and aside from the HRE's, it's got just a few basic cosmetic mods right now. Eibach springs will be installed on Tuesday (EDC) and I hope to do something bodywise about the front and rear pretty soon...and I don't think I'm going to be able to resist an Akrapovic for long. Looking forward to being a positive contributor to forum and learning a bunch along the way. We have such awesome cars! Let me know your thoughts good and bad! Nice ride and color, I was torn in between this color and SS II when I ordered mine in 2008... Welcome!

I like it now, and I will love it when its lowered. Needs to be dropped when running 20s

Hey another SparGra car!
Your pics are perfect examples of how this colour shows different hues according to its surroundings. The last pic is probably also influenced by the auto white balance of your camera (the bricks fooling it into hyping up the blue content). SparGra must be the most sensitive colour (no longer...) in the range when it comes to picking up various shades from the ambient light. |

Thanks for all the comments guys!
I know there is sort of a love/hate thing going on with this color but I am definitely on the love side. Plus I live in the northwest so it's cloudy most of the time anyway and I never see that purple hue I haven't fiqured out how to include quotes from others in my posts (maybe someone could point me to where I can learn) but to answer the question about the wheel size, they are: Front: 20x9 ET28 255/30/20 Rear: 20x10.5 ET28 285/30/20 Thanks again guys! |
