Hope this isn't a G37 repost

I was doing a google search on my cobb tune and to see what people have said about it (my feedback is all positive) and I stumbled on this. I don't know if this is a repost but it seems like the g37 guys are having buyers remorse from some of the reactions I see. I respect the g37, it just wasn't for me. ANyway here's the link. http://www.myg37.com/forums/other-ca...e-numbers.html

I almost bought a G37 after my 2nd G35. I test drove it the same day I drove the 335i that I bought for the 1st time... man that thing was boring. They sucked out all the life that was in the G35. It was super refined and boring. Not to mention I never really loved the exterior. Definitely glad I went with my 335i over that.

i looked at the G37 when it was released... didnt like it either.

curves too soft. interior actually lost space in the back seats.
The engine wasnt too far off from the original 3.5... and the transmission was the same, not to mention no DI and same MPG as before.

Infiniti dropped the ball on the G37 may it appeal more towards females.

there is rumors of an infiniti G comming out with the power train of the GTR... however the price tag is estimated to be around $120...

do i regret not buying a G37 no... do i regret buying a 335i alittle (but not much).

Almost.

Do we really hate on the G37 that much though? I mean a G vs 3 thread comes up every now and then when someone is car shopping but that's pretty much it.

I've been thinking of purchasing a G37 tbh. If I could find a G37S manual, coupe, and has a turbo or TT. I would jump on it instantly.

I've thought about purchasing a g37 before but the exterior isn't that attractive to me. The back where it slopes and results in less head room for passengers isn't good either. The G is a nice car but the 335 just puts an instant smile on my face.

I agreed...the G37 is too curvy for my taste also...now the G35...it was my first Nissan crush. I've never driven any of the G, but I don't think I'll be missing out much owning a 335i lol

It's always funny reading what other people think about other brands. I have Lexus hate, but only because the Lexus owner I know is a douche when it comes to cars. The 335 and G37 comparo always comes up. the only reason they're competitors is the power output. On the price scale, they're different. You wouldn't compare a 335 with a Genesis would you? But people compare the G37 with the Genesis all the time. Why? Perhaps cuz the Genesis is a blatant rip-off of the G37. The 335 and G37 are totally different cars. I own a G37 and it's always annoying when this comparo comes around. You bought a 335 for a reason. The I bought a G37 for a reason. The thing is, is that 335 owners always seem to look down on G37 owners, and that's the really irritating part. And no, I'm not insecure. I could tear down BMW all day if I wanted to but choose not to.

I know. They can flame all they want. But it still doesn't make them any better than the G37 guys. I can go to myG37 and get all the ass patting I want lol. Same difference there. Again, I don't do it cuz it's retarded and pointless.

That thread was funny... When it comes down to it though both the 335 and g37 are just cars. Let people buy what they like. IMHO, it's not much of a comparison, but people will always compare things even when they're no where near equivalent.... To each their own

Reason why I didn't buy a G37: you can't even fit a case of beer in the trunk..
