Whirling tire noise on low speeds
Sup fellas. I'm trying to identify the cause of this whirling noise on low speeds. sounds like either rotors are warped(not actually warped) like pads are touching in and out or the tire is out of round. If my explanation is not clear i'll try to get a video up.
My car only has 25k and is sitting on Michelin pilot sport a/s 3. Thought initially it was my pads going bad but it still has plenty of meat. I'm suspecting my tires but it has a lot of meat which previous owner changed before I purchased it. Thanks all |

check out the tire wear on the inside tread of the front tires. At 25k miles It's probably worn the insides more than the rest of the tire. This can cause a repetitive, speed-dependent noise that is audible at low speeds because it's lower frequency but fades into road noise as the car gets up above 40mph
