What's with all the Houston hating? Yeah, most of Houston isn't the prettiest, but it has a lot more character than most cities and the people are the best of anywhere I've lived or visited.
I do not hate Houston... I originally said that out of exhaustion just kidding around.

Ya everyone just looks it up and finds 5-6 hours labor in the computer I think.

Where did you get the springs put on your car?

It really doesn't take a aftermarket type place to put springs on. The alignment is a different beast though.
Im seriously considering doing it myself but if I can find someone to do it for a fair price its all theirs.

I was actually quoted (it was so nuts, I saved the email) $1440 to install springs, mount new tires, and do an alignment.

I like 'em and will be having them install a few more things in the next couple of weeks. Steve Ott runs the shop side and knows what he's doing. Interestingly, Aaron who worked in Joel Swanson's old shop, Bavarian Hyper Sports before it closed down, now works over at Driver Source, which I thought was cool. He actually remembered my car.

thatarchitect,

I almost forgot to mention: Kevin Dubois can also do the spring installs for you at his shop in Lewisville, TX. He did all my installs for my mods on my M3, and charged me a hell of a good price.

I'm assuming that he'd charge you well below $300 for the install on your springs, and he'll do an excellent job, since he's already proven himself to me, and to many customers of his. He may not be able to the alignment, but he can definitely do the springs for you.

Please PM me if you'd like me to get you in touch with him. Thanks.

Yep. He's my installer. Now I just gotta figure out what size rears. I am thinking 285/30 right now. This car is how it would look.

The only thing I am worried about is that he has Nittos on this car and I think I will get the hankook special PY SPeed has going right now. I have heard Nittos fit better bc they are more rounded.

i've been around here, too, as we all know. but yes, i've been trolling some datsun forums lately. i'm bored with the m3, time for something with a little more power potential. i considered a 997TT, but i'd rather go for something with higher power potential. warranty or not, i like the gt-r.
