Restore factory finish to E92 wheels?

I'm looking at an E92 and the previous owner has painted the wheels to match the space gray body. I'm not sure if I like this or not but if I decide I do not how difficult/expensive would it be to have this removed and restore OEM look?

Sell these and buy new ones would be your best bet.

Are there no wheel refurbishment guys that can strip these overnight and then re-polish to the original machined finish?

I'm from the UK and got mine painted black by a company called Lepsons, but in the process of a paint mismatch, they stripped it back down and refinished it back to stock for me. Looked as good as new. I'm sure there must be a shop nearby that can do something similar for you?

These are not polished like the 220, they are just painted. But that kind of paint is hard to do correctly and will be expense. Probably like $150 a piece to do correctly, so it might be better to find someone who is going to paint theirs black and switch with them.
