Akrapovic evo vs slip-on

i went from slip on to full evo, had the slip on for about 2 months before upgrading.

the slip on sounds GREAT, but man the full evo is just on another level... u HEAR and FEEL the air underneath you sounding MEAN cuz you replace the cats. it's intoxicating and so worth it.

Personally, I wouldn't classify the cold start "rumble" as a drone, it's just stock tuning in order to warm up the cats...this is easily tuned out however, I plan on keeping my cold start tune...I love annoying my neighbors

Haha, I like that vid. It reminds me of what I like to do when going under a bridge or through a tunnel...just downshift and floor it. It's especially fun when people are walking under the bridge when I do it...sucks I can't hear their shrieks of terror over the sound of the exhaust, but the looks on their faces is pretty priceless.

I can hardly believe it doesn't drone or annoy on the freeway, but I just drove home after getting it and that's a fact. Pulling into my condo's underground garage the Evo system is just thunderous at idle. It's exactly what you'd want - loud under power but quiet when cruising.
