What is the invoice price on a 62,000 m3 sedan?

I see a few sedans out there MSRP for 62,000. If i was to get close to 1k over invoice what would I be paying?

thx

If you go to any of the auto sites, you can find the invoice pricing. Like cars.com:

Yes they are very accurate. Simply take the 5 or 10 minutes to calc the invoice price with the options that the car you are looking at has on it.

Yeah i've been doing this for years... just not sure if thats really what people mean.

Why does everyone say "I got 1k over invoice" instead of saying "I paid 59,000"

If you've been doing this for years, you should understand why.

Its easier to say how much over invoice you got then to list out all of your options and say how much you paid for the car. All the options would be have to be listed because the absolute amount you pay for the car means nothing without knowing how it was equipped.

"I got 1k over invoice" means you got a good deal not matter what the sticker price was. "59,000" means you got a good deal only if its somewhat near invoice. If invoice is 54k for example (a stripped E90), then you got a horrible deal.
