The tread pattern doesn't scream anything special... wonder what is it about these that does the trick and are stock on e46 CSL's.

These are the "+" spec (BMW OEM or "N" spec, if Porsche) which have the additional channel and small grooves toward the outer edge of the tire - better traction in the wet compared to the standard PSC. This is an r-comp tire with a treadwear rating of 80, compared to a 220 for the PS2, so it has significantly more grip than a street tire. The nice thing about the PSC, if not over-heated, is it will turn the same lap times from its first lap to its last.

Excellent price for a pair of PSC+ - GLWS!

How much time do you have on these? I need something to replace my rear PS2s. I'm sure these would be sick to have for my trips to the ring.

How fast would one go through a set of these on the track?

3 heat cycles on them. PSCs are good for 24-30 heat cycles depending on the track, your car, and driving style. However you should NOT replace only the rears with these rcomps and leave the front PS2's (or whatever non rcomps you're running now). You will have MASSIVE understeer because the non rcomps will not be able to cope with the increase in grip from these.

Doesn't anyone run these for track tires and need a spare setup? At this price I don't know how they aren't sold yet.
