How do you handle the long wait?
With 9 months away before the new M3 debuts, possibly longer for some. Im wondering what helps you guys pass the time? I cant help but to think about it everyday...i dont think its been one day where i have not daydreamed about driving it or thought about the mods.
Right now im just searching for any new updates they have, and looking at alot of modded 335s. Its driving me a bit crazy haha. |

I drive my hubby nutz by checking everyday after work all the different M3 boards and the web for new info. Joined the BMCCA as well while waiting
We orig were planning on getting a 335 but after seeing it only comes with runflats and slated more toward lux than performance. Plus some of the characters on the e90 boards (ego maniacs and alot of kids).. no way am I getting one of those... And if I ever hear "just go with procede and exhaust" one more time it'll be too soon. The 15-20k price difference on the M3 should filter out the riff raff Yes Im being sarcastic dont get me wrong the 335 is a great car and between a few, most are cool people there as well. Just venting a little Ive just been reading thru some of the posts over there Dont you just hate waiting, lets get going BMW!! |

Off topic, but jinkazama0619, is that you in your avatar pic or are you a guy and thats just some chick? Lol.
And listen, I know the wait is hard but it'll just make you desire it even more. I personally CAN'T WAIT any longer...so I pass my time talking about it 24/7, to the point where everybody starts getting pissed off at me. Thank God for message boards.

i search all the competition coming out and consider other cars.. then i come back to my senses and realize what i really want
and i agree that the 335i kids get on your nerves they think they have the fastest car ever when in reality its not that fast. |

Yeah the 335i is ok fast but not that fast, ofcourse if I chip it things will change but not gonna do it, coz the suspension, LSD and other parts will need mods, too. It's tuned for a different purpose and I still want the E92 M3 after driving the 335i.

Cool that a few of us are sorta doing the same thing. Holding out soley for the M.
I have and love my Z which Im going to be keeping (until I see the new model in 09 that is) but with my upgraded suspension (full nismo) handles great as a DD and on the weekend twistys and such, but kinda rough on long roadtrips. So the M will be my new alternate DD/road trip car. Hope its good as all the hype makes it out to be, after all this and not to mention all the future waiting to come (build time etc..). |

I'm trying to find an S52 for my E30 to give me something to tinker with...but I dont have the money yet. I try not to think about it very much, but then I think: Hey, I'll be one of the first in NC w/ one, that's gonna be amazing. And it just snowballs from there. The post about Eisenmann already working on something helped.

I have an E36 M3 to drive daily, I love the car and will hate getting rid of it when the E92 shows up. However, that's how I pass the time.
Oh yeah, Calabogie HPDE in two weeks. That's another good way to pass the time.
