Telephone function on idrive not working

Every time I bring up the telephone function in Idrive I get the spinning wheel and the words waiting ? I have used my Iphone 3gs with out trouble since July. It is not that it wont sync its that nothing is happening except the spinning wheel. Any one have any ideas ?

So this was not a very helpful thread for me but for what it is worth.... Took the car to the dealer today and the diagnosis is: Faulty Combox. So one is on order and back to the dealer next week for a replacement.
