+1 just washed the car and the scratches on the actual car are very minor and hardly noticable, even if you lay down to get a look under the car.

Both sides on my have been impacted by something or other. The passenger side one is worn through and has been back ordered from Germany. We had water main repairs at our new house. Both my wifes 335 and the 330 next door also scraped getting into the driveway. The end piece is only worth $30 so it is not a big deal.I have also had them scrape over dips onroad.

What did you scratched. The bumper (paint) or the diffuser?

That diffuser is made to be scratched! Will be impossible not to scratch it at some point. I already did and it really doest´t bother me. Actually it probably done that way just to protect the bumper.

Yes, but only once so far. Who cares, though? It's underneath the car, and it's bound to happen at some point. As long as it looks ok on the rest of the car and still goes like stink, I'm happy.

Everyday bro.. not all dips and driveways are created equal. I try my best to go slow and diagonal on questionable, uneven surfaces. I have come to accept that this is just part of city driving.. don't worry about it.. it's only the underside of the car and always look at the positive... at least the scratches are in a place not commonly seen.

Finally, dealing with rock chips, bird shit/bug tar etching clear coat, and idiotic drivers/parking are more of a nightmare.

I had the same thing happen. You couldn't see it, but it was still annoying. I ordered a touch-up pen from paintscratch.com, it made a big difference.

That always helps get rid of the "new car blues". Now you can go enjoy it without worrying about "that first scratch"

Just joined the club... 4 long scratches from on the underside of the front bumper. Funny thing is that I always back in to park but this time I pulled forward. Gonna apply some touch-up paint and then clearbra the heck out of it.

+1 Such a sentiment is seldom voiced; it is quite refreshing.
