When the road is empty....but, then, nobody is there to see it.

Well for me, doing something that may result in a ticket can be defined as reckless.
Making a decently hard left on a yellow arrow can get you a reckless driving ticket

0600 to 0800 is the best time to do a Canyon Run to the beach. For instance, on Sundays I can do a Canyon Run and then get back to Woodland Hills for Supercar Sunday.

Feels good man. When you get good at it, you start realize that doing 95+ just to do 95+ is kind of "meh"..
On a track however...get that foot to the floor, son!

People who have nice sports cars are usually older, and thus more mature and have a lot more to lose in life if they end up causing a big accident.
It is incredibly douchey when people in any kind of car (especially showy ones) drive obnoxiously fast in areas highly populated with pedestrians. My old office building was at the end of Rodeo Dr. and I can't begin to describe how many times I've seen the SAME local morons hauling ass up and down this 15-25 mph street. And for what....to show off to a gaggle of tourists from Kenosha WI to Spain? Not to say I don't do my fair share of speeding...usually on the highway when I've got open road with no distractions or chp. |

When the road is open and dry however, I still cut it lose from time to time. In shorter spurts, however. As a lifetime car enthusiast, I do drive faster than the average Joe, and have learned how to do it more properly and more safely, I believe. Still, there is always an element of risk. That, I suppose, is part of the appeal too.

It's just that once you've driven at track speeds and situations, the road is not satisfying anymore such that you just don't bother speeding. My mind will always be on the track!
