Ya, ESS doesn't recomend it for the 08's. Not sure how much the worry really is, especially at our altitude.

Exactly.

If most of my time was spent below ~2000' I would have ordered the VT2-625 but up here I want all the boost I can get

Hey Guys,

I have to change my sport tires for summer and I was thinking about upgrading to 19 or 20 inch wheels. I was at ECU Program and they suggested the VMR including tires for around $2500, what do you guys think?

And how much do you think I can get for my 18 GunMetal wheels?

Mo, personally I wouldn't go for 20's in Calgary. I think 19's are already harsh enough. Only time I would go 20's is BBS.

Really ? You think I will notice the different between 18-19-20? My car is pretty comfortable with my 18s.

By the way, how much does a set of OEM ZCP mint condition worth? Someone has a set of silver ones and he is trying to sell them. Only bad thing is when I get them, i have to powder coat them black first, so an extra $300-400

I have 19s for both summer and winter, no problem at all, 18= not sexy enough
20=sexy but bad ride comfort, so there you go, 19=perfect

Seems like a good deal. I just got my winter 18X8.5 ZCP style Avant Garde's (black) paid $1,100 from PYSPEED. $1,200 OEM seems like a great deal

I have VMR for winters in 18s, depends on the tire you put on them but I paid less ... Talk with Rob @ Tunerworks, he will hook you up.

But for summer rims I would buy something better then VMR. The finish on the VMRs are not great. You don't need to go crazy and get HRE or BBS but WORK or rays make some great wheels in M3 fits.

There is no one better at finding the perfect rims then Rob.

But if you are looking for a low cost option I have a set of old HREs that I need to sell cheap!!!!!

And 19s are the perfect size for an E9x m3

They will be more expensive when it is close to Spring / Summer. I am looking for good deals now.

Mo, I've seen these in person at one of the meets and they are perfect. They look great in silver but you could easily powdercoat to match your tastes. I think 19's look best on M3's as 20's are just too big. The step lip on redline's wheels give them a great look too.

20's are too big if you drive a Mustang or sell photocopiers...
