Stoptech ST40 Rear Pad Overhang

Hi all,

I recently purchased an M3 with the Stoptech ST60/ST40 Big Brake Kits on it and the rear driver's side squeals pretty bad even after repeated beddings. I took it to a local shop to have them look at it and they believe that it is due to the pad overhanging the rear rotor. For those with this kit, is that normal? Or is it a manufacturer defect?
