Got Downforce? The Results are IN!
Update:
I apologize for the long time it took for me to analyze my data. I wanted to make sure that everything is done right. If you have any suggestions please let me know. Except for the tires, test one (baseline without aero) and test two (with aero) were conducted in near-identical conditions (temperature, fuel load, weather, etc.). Test one was done on fresh Michelin Cups; test two was conducted on the same set of Cups but about 300 miles later (mix of track and highway). Both tests were driven by Tony R. with me as a passenger. Based on the lap time and traction circle, the aero parts appear to provide a noticeable performance advantage over no aero parts. Between the two best laps of the two tests, we were able to observe a near one second improvement in lap time. One can also observe a slight expansion of the traction circle, which means a higher G load was achieved during braking, acceleration, and cornering. Test 1 (w/o aero) Best Lap Time: 1:42.648 Test 2 (w/ aero) Best Lap Time: 1:41.699 Attached is the traction circle for your entertainment |

Looks sick. Def make sure that splitter is very well secured. Bolts and washers car rip right through your bumper at high speed... I say this from experience.
Cant wait to see these installed. D |
